RUFUS CAMPBELL
GUITARS, BAGPIPES, WHISTLE, VOCALS
Born and raised in South Buffalo, NY (a great Irish community), he has performed with various music groups throughout his life, touring as a guitarist. In more recent years he took an interest in learning the bagpipes and Penny Whistle. His desire to utilize bagpipes in his native rock music background, he was a key factor in forming the Celtic Rock band, Síocháin. After that group disbanded, Rufus was determined to keep doing what he loves to do. CLAUDIA CAMPBELL
VOCALS, ACCORDION, BODHRAN
Originally from San Bernardino, CA, Claudia moved to Indianapolis with her husband, Rufus, back in 1982. They were both part of some touring bands back then, and ended up establishing roots in Indiana. Claudia has been a performer for most of her life touring as a vocalist. Along with her powerful vocal abilities In the past few years, she has added the bodhran and accordion to her musical abilities. With Maggie and Brian sharing vocal responsibilities, Claudia is able to display her musical versatility along with her vocal strengths. |

BRIAN VERMILLION
DRUMS, VOCALS
Brian Vermillion is a native of Noblesville, Indiana and the youngest of the group. He picked up playing drums at age 12, playing for local worship bands before joining the death metal scene with a Slipknot cover band and the punk rock genre in a band named "Garbage 5.0" all the while attending school full time at Ball State University. After subbing in on drums for the band, Síocháin, he joined the ranks of former Siochain members Rufus and Claudia Campbell to form "The Whigmaleeries" and enjoying every minute of it! |

RYAN (RED) EDWARDS
BASS GUITAR, SOUND
Born & raised in the automotive factory town of Kokomo, Indiana; Red first picked up the bass at age 15. He quickly excelled across a number of genres of music, playing in a whole variety garage bands, contemporary & traditional churches, and the occasional jazz club. All the while, he had a certain love for all celtic music, traditional & modern, so when the opportunity opened to join the Whigmaleeries, he jumped at the chance without a second thought. Red now works at his day job only as a means to support his addiction to Celtic Rock. |

NATHAN DAVIS
FIDDLE, MANDOLIN
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Nathan began his musical career at age five learning techniques through classical violin and the heart of music through celtic fiddle. In 2006 he moved to Lafayette, Indiana with his family. As the finalist of the 2008-2009 Wilbur Ade Scholarship, Nathan attended the Mark O’Connor Fiddle Camp near Nashville. The co-founder of the Lafayette Area Strings, Nathan has also enjoyed performing with the Wabash Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra and at the Indiana Fiddlers’ Gathering. He is currently a part of his church’s worship band, and also enjoys teaching his violin students. Nathan began fiddling with the Whigmaleeries in July, and has loved performing with them ever since!
